- FX’s The Comedians, starring Billy Crystal and Josh Gad. Does this “meta mockumentary” about a comedy legend and an up-and-comer young comic have enough laughs and heart to keep us glued to the screen?
- Yahoo’s Other Space from Paul Feig, producer of Freaks and Geeks and Bridesmaids. This is a new workplace comedy taking place on a starship, based on an old “drawer script.” It features a young, diverse cast, mostly of unknown actors (though you might recognize one of them). Do the comic acting and storytelling overcome the deliberately shabby sets in this lo-fi sci-fi production?
